Jeremy Ward PhD

Jeremy Ward is a sociologist and post-doctoral fellow at Sorbonne's Sociological Analysis Methods Study Group (UMR8598, CNRS, Paris-Sorbonne University). His work focuses on the prevention of epidemic risks and on vaccination more specifically. These objects allow him to deal with the way science is debated in the public space and ordinary relationships with science.

After a thesis on the management of the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic defended in 2015 at the University of Paris Diderot, his work focused on the vaccine controversies that have emerged in France in recent years as well as on the doubts that these vaccines arouse. in a large part of the population.
