Jeremy J. Thaden MD

Dr. Jeremy Thaden, M.D., a cardiologist, recently joined the medical staff at Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing. With Dr. Thaden on staff, the medical center now has two cardiologists offering heart care from preventive screenings to ongoing care for heart conditions such as atrial fibrillation, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and heart valve disease.

Dr. Thaden has a special interest in structural heart imaging. “This is a rapidly evolving field that involves performing transesophageal echocardiography (a test that uses ultrasound to make detailed pictures of your heart and arteries) to guide minimally invasive heart procedures like heart valve replacement and repair,” says Dr. Thaden.
