Jens-ulrich Stegmann PhD

Jens-Ulrich Stegmann is a registered male nurse and a physician by training. After working as anesthesiologist at the University Clinic of Düsseldorf in Germany he joined the Clinical Development Department of Grünenthal GmbH. He contributed to the development of a number of centrally analgesics and was Clinical Lead for Tapentadol during licensing procedure in US as well in Europe. In 2008 he became Head Global Drug Safety for Grünenthal. In January 2012 he joined GSK vaccines as Head of Safety Evaluation and Risk Management. Since June 2013 is also Deputy QPPV for GSK.
