Jenny Royle PhD

Jenny gained her Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Cambridge before entering the Pharmaceutical industry in 2003. There Jenny spent many years working at all phases of clinical development and has a wide range of expertise from clinical science and regulatory affairs, through to data analytics, and patient-focused research - with a particular focus on the integration of patient insight across the whole value chain.

She was part of the initial patient-centricity change team in AZ leading to the delivery of many patient engagement and infrastructure activities. For the last 5 years, she has been working at the interface between hospitals, charities, academia, and pharma to deliver patient-centered solutions. Jenny was Chief Investigator of a clinical trial for a novel patient engagement and tolerability device. She has also completed a post-graduate qualification in psychology and behavior change, which has supported the delivery of a co-creation design lab within a busy hospital, and the consistent of robust value measures inpatient work.
