Jennifer S. Albrecht PhD

Dr. Jennifer S. Albrecht is an epidemiologist with expertise in pharmacoepidemiology, administrative claims analysis, and health services research. Focusing primarily on older adults, she has established research programs in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and sleep disorders, with cognition as a sub-focus of both. Dr. Albrecht conducts research aimed at understanding the normal course of recovery following TBI among older adults, identifying factors that impede or facilitate recovery, and ultimately designing interventions to optimize recovery. Studies range from prospective cohorts to retrospective studies using large administrative or linked data. Dr. Albrecht is the Director of Clinical Research Education Programs and Co-Director of the Pilot and Exploratory Studies Core of the Claude D. Pepper Center.
