Jennifer Annis obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in May of 1998 and has been with the firm since that time. While in school, Ms. Annis was a teaching assistant in the legal research and writing department. She was a member of Phi Delta Phi, the Dean’s Honor Roll, the Luther Bohannon American Inn of Court, the ATLA Trial Competition Teach, the National Trial Competition Team and the Order of the Barristers. Ms. Annis was awarded the Salem Civil Rights Award, the American Jurisprudence Awards in Disabilities Law and Trial Techniques, and the McAfee Taft Award as the outstanding law student in the area of trial advocacy.
Ms. Annis concentrates her practice in medical malpractice, bad faith and general tort litigation. She has handled hundreds of cases involving general negligence, professional negligence, insurance bad faith, products liability, premises liability, employment law and commercial litigation. Ms. Annis has tried numerous cases to verdict over her twenty year legal career.
She is a 2001 graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy, and a member of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, and International Association of Defense Counsel. Ms. Annis has been recognized as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer yearly since 2010, and listed as one of the Top 25 Women Lawyers 2011-2013 and 2017, and Top 50 Lawyers in 2017. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
