Jennifer Power is an Associate Professor and Principal Research Fellow at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health, and Society.
She is a sociologist who specializes in research related to sexuality and sexual health. Her research projects have explored digital sexual literacy among young people and adults, quality of life among people living with HIV, the social and ethical implications of research toward a cure for HIV, LGBTIQA+ health and wellbeing, and fertility and reproductive choices among LGBT communities.
Jennifer is experienced in the design and implementation of large, complex studies using qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Jennifer is the course coordinator and lecturer for the undergraduate unit "HLT1CSS: Contemporary Issues in Sex and Sexuality" and the subject coordinator and lecturer for the Graduate Certificate in Sex, Health, and Society (HCSHS).
