Dr. Jennifer Michelle Trujillo is a Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Aurora, CO. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson and completed a pharmacy practice residency at Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA. She is a Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).

Before moving to Colorado, Dr. Trujillo was a faculty member at the Northeastern University School of Pharmacy in Boston, MA. Her clinical practice was in adult internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Lahey Clinic Medical Center. During this time, Dr. Trujillo devoted time to teaching, curricular development, and assessment activities, and served as the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs for two years.

Dr. Trujillo currently practices at The University of Colorado Center for Adult Diabetes Care and Research. The center’s multidisciplinary team provides diabetes management and education to patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Clinical research areas of interest include inpatient and outpatient diabetes management and education. Dr. Trujillo also has a strong interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning, curricular development, and assessment.
