Jennifer L. Stephens DO

Dr. Stephens is Chief Medical Officer of Lehigh Valley Physician Group. Her focus is on driving patient-centric, team-based, high-value care. Dr. Stephens also is a practicing general internist at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN).

Her undergraduate training was at Ursinus College with medical studies at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Stephens completed her residency training at LVHN with a subsequent year as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Stephens' career has included different leadership roles within the areas of graduate medical education, ambulatory health care, quality management, practice leadership, an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) development, and operations. Her work has included the development of ambulatory GME curricula, operational leadership, and growth of ambulatory clinical sites, performance responsibility within quality programs, leadership and facilitation of multidisciplinary and cross-departmental quality improvement initiatives, quality management infrastructure development, and responsibility for the quality and operational performance within value-based care arrangements.
