Jennifer L. Sorrell MD

Jennifer Sorrell, MD is originally from Rochester, New York. Dr. Sorrell is a pediatric dermatology specialist and joined our faculty in July of 2015. She received her BS from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2001 and earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 2005. She completed her Pediatrics training and then Dermatology training at Northwestern University in 2008 and 2014 respectively. She completed a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at Columbia University in 2015.

Dr. Sorrell is greatly interested in the complex mechanisms underlying inflammatory skin diseases, including atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. She is currently a member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Dermatology.
