Dr. Jennifer Lynn Garst, MD a lung cancer specialist. Jennifer strongly believes that taking care of people with lung cancer with a multidisciplinary approach is key. When a patient comes in, they will see the lung cancer surgeon, the radiation oncologist, and a medical oncologist all in one visit. It is extremely efficient and convenient. Jennifer gives all Jennifer patients a new patient notebook, which contains information about the disease, educational facts about treatment and side effects, and how important supportive care is for lung cancer. Supportive care involves pain control, fatigue management, diet, social connections, and how they are emotionally dealing with this diagnosis. Jennifer takes a very holistic approach to taking care of people with lung cancer.
