Jennifer J. Schoch MD

Jennifer J. Schoch, MD, earned her undergraduate degree in child psychology with highest honours from the University of Minnesota and medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Dr. Schoch completed her internal medicine internship, a dermatology residency and pediatric dermatology fellowship at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minn. Dr. Schoch is one of the few board-certified pediatric dermatologists in the state of Florida.Dr. Schoch began her career at the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital as a certified child life specialist in 2002.

Her work was focused primarily in the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant unit, where she supported children and their families in surgical, clinical and inpatient settings. While at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Dr. Schoch was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society. In 2014, Dr. Schoch was awarded the Pediatric Dermatology Residents/Fellows Research Award by the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Schoch is certified by the Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and is an invited reviewer of the International Journal of Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology journal.
