Jennifer Horonjeff PhD

Dr Jen Horonjeff straddles the line between patient and professional. After growing up with several chronic illnesses, she became a healthcare researcher and consultant. She earned her PhD in Environmental Medicine at New York University and is a patient-centered outcomes researcher at Columbia University Medical Center. Jen is deeply committed to championing patient engagement in research and industry around the globe.

She serves as a consumer and patient representative on numerous projects, committees and advisory boards for organizations including the FDA, OMERACT, American College of Rheumatology, and the Arthritis Foundation. She has recently founded Savvy Cooperative, a patient co-op that facilitates patient and professional collaboration in healthcare innovations. Jen strives to give patients a platform to have their voices and expertise be included, valued and respected.
