Jennifer H. Perryman MD

Dr. Jennifer Perryman grew up in southern Indiana where she later attended Hanover College, a small private liberal arts school. She met her husband and earned her bachelor's degree there in 2000. She earned a Master of Science in Biology in one year from Purdue University (IUPUI – Indianapolis). She earned her medical degree and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2005. She completed her Internal Medicine Preliminary Year at the University of Louisville and subsequently performed her residency training in dermatology at the University of Louisville under the direction of Dr. Jeff Callen. She was honored with an award from the medical students for outstanding teaching while serving her final year as Chief Resident. After graduating from her residency, she practiced dermatology in Louisville with her friend and mentor Dr. Joe Fowler. She remained on staff at UofL teaching students and residents as a Clinical Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) until moving to Colorado and joining the Fort Collins Skin Clinic in the summer of 2016.

Dr. Perryman has been an invited lecturer at many regional and national medical conferences. These include the American Academy of Dermatology, Caribbean Dermatology Symposium, Winter Skin Seminar, Kentucky Allergy Society Spring Meeting, 5th Annual Patch Test Workshop, the University of Louisville Dermatology Annual Spring Meeting, and Essentials in Medical Dermatology resident course. She is published in peer-reviewed journals, has written chapters for the textbook Fisher’s Contact Dermatitis, and is an author in the dermatology section in UpToDate. In addition to clinical practice, she is involved in clinical research for drug development focusing on psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, actinic keratoses, and more. Dr. Perryman enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and their families and looks forward to forming new relationships here in Colorado. In her free time, Dr. Perryman enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. They love being outdoors and are excited about the new adventures Colorado has to offer.
