Jennifer D Goldman joined the faculty at MCPHS and is currently a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Boston Campus. She held a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine, in the Department of Family Medicine. She coordinates and teaches various therapeutics courses and precept Doctor of Pharmacy Candidates on rotation at Well Life in Peabody, as a Clinical Pharmacist and a Certified Diabetes Educator providing medication and disease state management. I am board certified in advanced diabetes management. She has worked with physicians and other health care providers to provide collaborative and interdisciplinary services to patients for close to 30 years. Her research interests are in diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and teaching.
Jennifer Goldman has been invited locally and nationally to provide hundreds of presentations and workshops to healthcare providers and non-healthcare audiences on both diabetes and active learning techniques and engaging audiences in small and large classrooms or venues.
Jennifer has been the recipient of the Long Term Service, Trustees Award for Teaching Excellence, The Preceptor of the Year, the Pharmacy Practice Teacher of the Year, and the Biopharmaceutical Fellowship Industry preceptor of the year awards at MCPHS. She has been recognized by the American Academy of Family Physicians for teaching Family Medicine.
