Jennifer R. Bunch MD

Jennifer Bunch, M.D. is double board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. Dr. Bunch completed her fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the prestigious Stanford University in California and her anesthesiology residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Dr. Bunch is passionate about caring for and treating patients with painful conditions. She actively gives community talks on pain medicine and continuing medical education lectures at local hospitals. She has authored numerous articles and book chapters and has won several awards for research in pain medicine. Dr. Bunch has held leadership roles at the national level with the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.

Dr. Bunch was born in Macomb, Illinois. She was a high school Rotary International exchange student to Chile where she lived with a host family for a year in Rancagua, Chile. She volunteered with Life Box participating in missions to Honduras with the University of Florida as an extension of the World Health Organization and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
