Professor Dr Jemima Mellerio BSc, MD, FRCP consults on all general Dermatology and paediatric Dermatology. Special interests include inflammatory, blistering and genetic skin diseases. Her NHS posts are with St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (where she is Team Lead for Genetics, Women’s and Paediatric Dermatology) and Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Trust.
Professor Jemima Mellerio treats children with all skin conditions but has particular expertise in atopic dermatitis, acute rashes, ichthyoses and other genetic skin diseases.She sees and treats adults for all general dermatology conditions particularly inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, acne and psoriasis, acute rashes, blistering skin conditions, hair disorders and genetic skin diseases.
Professor Jemima Mellerio is an experienced dermatological surgeon who performs skin biopsies, removes benign moles and skin tags and performs injections for hair loss, keloid scars and in treating cystic acne. She is experienced in all forms of skin cancers and performs mole checks and surgically removes suspicious lesions and skin cancers.
