Jelle Vlaanderen MSc, PhD

Jelle is an associate professor in molecular epidemiology at Utrecht University. His research interest lies in conducting studies and developing approaches that contribute to the elucidation of the role of environmental factors in disease etiology. In practice, this translates into a focus on the use of molecular markers in association with both environmental exposures and disease or early health effects and on the development and implementation of methods that contribute to causal inference in epidemiological studies.
