Jeffrey Singer joined the PSU Biology faculty in 2008. He also teaches part-time at OHSU’s Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is a member of the Knight Cancer Institute, Cancer Biology Program at OHSU. His research focuses on the regulation of ubiquitin signaling and how it controls essential cell processes such as cell cycle progression, secretion, neuronal function, and transcription. He has published and coauthored at least twenty-five articles in peer-reviewed journals and has also authored several book chapters and abstracts. He has received numerous grants and has presented extensively. He is a faculty mentor to undergraduates, graduates, and post-doctoral fellows.
