Jeffrey Morris is currently a Professor and Interim Deputy Chair in the Department of Biostatistics at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He also an adjunct member of the Graduate Faculty at Texas A&M University. He received Ph.D. from the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University in August 2000, under the direction of Raymond J. Carroll and Naisyin Wang.
His primary research interests include statistical methods for analyzing functional data, image data, and other types of correlated object data, and also methods for analyzing various types of data encountered in bioinformatics, including mass spectrometry and 2-d gel proteomics data, microarray data, and array cGH data.
