Jeffrey Lawrence Koning MD

Dr. Jeffrey Koning is a pediatric radiologist with San Diego Imaging Medical Group. Dr. Koning earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from La Sierra University, where he was awarded the Dean's Award for graduating at the top of the School of Business. He then went on to receive his medical degree from Loma Linda University and graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. 

Following medical school, Dr. Koning completed a transitional year internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and a diagnostic radiology residency at UC San Diego. Subsequently, he completed his pediatric radiology fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School, where he served as a chief fellow and was awarded the 2017 Roentgen Fellow Research Award from the Radiological Society of North America in recognition of outstanding radiologic research.
