Jeffrey E. Indes MD, FACS, is a highly trained and qualified surgeon with extensive expertise in all facets of his work, especially the use of minimally invasive treatments for aneurysms, arterial diseases and venous diseases. In practice for over 18 years, Dr. Indes currently serves as Associate Professor of Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Site Director for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Montefiore. He is Program Director of the Vascular Surgery Residency and Fellowship Programs at Montefiore-Einstein.

Dr. Indes received his medical degree in research, with distinction, in 2001 from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed his residency training at Temple University Hospital, serving as Chief Resident from 2005 to 2006, before undertaking his fellowship training at Montefiore-Einstein. He has served as faculty in both the assistant and associate professor levels at Yale University and was Chief of Vascular Surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Science Center. Dr. Indes is double board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Vascular Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Published extensively, Dr. Indes is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions. He is renowned for his expertise in complex aortic, thoracic and abdominal aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease, arteriovenous access grafts, thoracic outlet syndrome, mesenteric and renal vascular diseases and the treatment of venous disease. Dr. Indes has dedicated his life to providing the highest level of quality and compassionate care to his patients.
