Dr. Jeffrey Hoag, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, where he also serves as Section Chief for Jefferson Northeast. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his residency in internal medicine there before pursuing fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Hoag is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine, and he brings extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing complex respiratory diseases. His clinical interests include the care of patients with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, and thoracic oncology, and he has contributed to scholarly work on topics such as airway disorders and patient-reported outcomes in hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. At Jefferson, Dr. Hoag combines clinical practice with academic scholarship to advance pulmonary care and educate the next generation of physicians.
