Jeffrey G. Edwards PhD

Dr. Jeffrey Edwards is a professor in the Physiology and Developmental Biology Department at Brigham Young University. His research focuses on synaptic plasticity of brain circuits including in the hippocampus and ventral tegmental area, the memory and reward centers, respectively. Specifically, his research focuses on neurobiological mechanisms of addiction and exercise/stress effects on memory with an emphasis on endocannabinoids and GABA cells' role in synaptic plasticity.
