Jeffrey Barsuk MD, MS, SFHM

Jeffrey H. Barsuk, MD, MS, SFHM is a Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Medical Education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He was one of the first three hospitalists at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and helped to shape the development of that program which now includes more than 60 hospitalists. In 2010, he completed a Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Investigation. He also completed a certificate program in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety. Dr. Barsuk currently serves as Associate Program Director in the Internal Medicine residency program and the Director of Simulation and Patient Safety at Feinberg School of Medicine.
