Jeffrey B. Freedman MD

Jeffrey is a psychiatrist with more than 25 years of experience in caring for people with medical illnesses. She is Helping people with cancer and their families deal with emotional issues and witnessing the positive results from their medical treatments have been the most satisfying aspects of her work.
She is a board certified in both psychiatry and the subspecialty of psychosomatic medicine. She is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a fellow of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine. She is a past president of the New York County branch of the American Psychiatric Association and am presently co-chair of their public affairs committee.
