Jeffrey A. Zlotnick MD, CAQ, FAAFP, DABFP

Dr. Jeffrey A. Zlotnick received his MD from the UMDNJ - NJ Medical School, completed his Family Medicine Residency at Franklin Square Hospital, Baltimore, MD, and earned his CAQ certification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Zlotnick started in solo practice in Vernon, NJ, then academic Family Medicine at Warren Hospital (Phillipsburg, NJ), Somerset Medical Center (Somerville, NJ), and part-time faculty at Capital Health (Trenton, NJ), while also serving as the Medical Director at Patient First (Bethlehem, PA).

He later retired as Residency Director of Sports Medicine Education at Penn State Health/St. Joseph’s Family Medicine Residency in Reading, PA, as Director of the Sports Medicine/Concussion Clinic at PSH – St. Joseph’s, and served as Team Sports Medicine Physician for Albright College, Alvernia University, Conrad Weiser, and Schuylkill Valley High Schools in Berks County, PA. Dr. Zlotnick was also involved with the Rowan Integrated Special Needs Center at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine until June 2023.

Dr. Zlotnick serves as the Chair of the Commission on Continuing Professional Development for the PA Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Zlotnick has faculty appointments at Rutgers-NJ Medical School, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Zlotnick is a regional and nationally recognized speaker at the AAFP, NCFMR/S, PAFP, NJAFP, DAFP, and the AADMD.

Dr. Zlotnick is most proud of being the Senior Clinical Director and developer of the MedFest program - a joint initiative between Special Olympics NJ and the NJ Academy of Family Physicians. In 2016, Dr. Zlotnick was honored with election to the SONJ "Hall of Fame." The same year, he was also recognized with a Global Golisano Health Leadership Award by Special Olympics International.
