Jeffery Hughes FRACS

Dr Jeff Hughes is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in shoulder and elbow reconstruction, arthroscopy and joint arthroplasty. Dr Hughes performs surgery at North Shore Private Hospital and The Mater Private Hospital. Shoulder procedures routinely undertaken include arthroscopic shoulder decompression, stabilisation and capsule release, rotator cuff repair, tendon transfer for rotator cuff deficiency, shoulder arthroplasty both primary and revision.

Dr Hughes has developed a tertiary elbow practice involving difficult elbow reconstruction for acute and chronic elbow trauma, surgical release of post-traumatic or inflammatory joint contractures including both arthroscopic and open surgery, ligament stabilisation, arthroscopic treatment of elbow arthritis and total joint arthroplasty.
