Jeff Townsend

Jeff Townsend steers the strategic direction and innovation of the company by developing creative new concepts and solutions to benefit our current and future clients.. He plays a key role in solution innovation, financial planning and key market initiatives including population health management. Jeff has been instrumental in shaping Cerner’s software as one of the original architects of the Cerner Millennium platform. He led the creation of the institute alignment models, which are joint ventures between Cerner and our clients to rapidly advance and deploy health care technology. Jeff is a graduate of Iowa State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science.
