Jeff E. Schulman MD

Dr. Jeff Schulman is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He joined Inova Medical Group in 2007 after completing his fellowship. He has a special interest in the treatment of fractures and dislocations.
Most recently, Dr. Schulman served as the host and organizer of the 2013 annual meeting of the Virginia Orthopaedic Society. He also serves as the Orthopedic Residency Director at Inova Fairfax Hospital for visiting residents from Georgetown University and the National Capital Consortium Walter Reed/Bethesda Naval Military residency program. Dr. Schulman is involved in ongoing clinical research and has published on both osteoporosis interventions and clinical outcomes in pelvic fractures.
Dr. Schulman became interested in orthopedics and sports medicine because of the opportunity to tackle challenging problems and make an immediate difference in the lives of his patients. His goal is to help his patients regain their physical function and restore them to the lifestyle they would like to lead.

A native of New Jersey, Dr. Schulman currently resides in Alexandria with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he likes to cook, travel and support the Washington Capitals
