Jean-Marc Edeline currently works at the NeuroPSI (Institute of Neurosciences Paris-Saclay) and at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Jean-Marc does research in auditory Neuroscience, mostly at the level of the auditory cortex. He studies how communication sounds are encoded in the auditory system in normal and challenging situations such as in noisy conditions but also during the 1st step of cochlear implant processing (called "vocoding"). His most recent publication is 'A Single Exposure to GSM-1800 MHz Signals in the Course of an Acute Neuroinflammatory Reaction Can Alter Neuronal Responses and Microglial Morphology in the Rat Primary Auditory Cortex'.
