Jayme Strauss MSN, RN, MBA, SCRN

Jayme Strauss MSN, RN, MBA, SCRN is the Director of Neuroscience Clinical and Business Operations at Baptist Health South Florida located in Miami, FL. She supports the neuroscience service line throughout the organization which is comprised of 9 hospitals. She received her BSN from Cedar Crest College in Allentown Pennsylvania, and her MSN and MBA at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. Jayme also is an adjunct clinical professor of Nursing at Barry University in Miami shores, FL. She holds her Stroke Certified Registered Nurse. She has eight years of acute neuro experience including Trauma Neuro ICU, Neuro ICU, Neuro Progressive Care, and Neuroscience Telemetry as a bedside clinician, manager, professor, and administrator. In Jayme’s current role she is responsible for all clinical and business operations of the Neuroscience Service Line including The Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center, NAEC Certified Level 4 Epilepsy Center, and the first ABRET accredited Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Center in Florida. In addition, she supports nursing functions for rehab and imaging, neuroscience research, EEG, and acute care neurosurgery program.
