Jayesh Kulkarni PhD

Dr. Jayesh Kulkarni, PhD, is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at NanoVation Therapeutics, where he focuses on advancing next-generation lipid nanoparticle (LNP) technologies for genetic medicine delivery. With a career spanning biophysics, biochemistry, and pharmaceutical sciences, his work centers on lipid-based drug delivery systems, particularly the design and function of LNPs.

Dr. Kulkarni has authored over 35 peer-reviewed publications and holds numerous patents in the field. His research contributions have significantly enhanced the understanding of how lipid components influence nanoparticle formation and performance. He earned his PhD from the University of British Columbia, where he conducted structural and functional studies on lipid nanoparticles. In addition to his scientific leadership, he actively contributes to the biotech community through conferences and industry collaborations, helping drive innovation in gene delivery and RNA-based therapeutics.
