Jayant A. Talwalkar

Dr. Jayant A. Talwalkar, M.D., is a transplant hepatologist with training in health services and policy research. Dr. Talwalkar's area of interest is health care policy analysis, focusing on the organization, delivery and financing of specialty care in the United States and other major economic countries around the world. His work is focused on populations with chronic liver disease and recipients of liver transplantation.

Dr. Talwalkar's research interests are pursued in collaboration with colleagues from the Division of Health Care Policy and Research and the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery.
