Javier Boix

Javier Boix joined AbbVie in 2009 as a Communications Manager for the Spanish affiliate. He moved to the Chicago area with AbbVie in 2011, and has held several positions ever since, including Global Brand Communications Director for HCV. Javier assumed his current role as Senior Director, Content Strategy (aka StoryLab), Corporate Communications in August 2015. Prior to joining AbbVie, he was Healthcare Practice Director for Edelman Spain. Javier attended University of Barcelona and received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Journalism.
