Jaume Masia MD

Dr. Masia introduces the most recent microsurgical techniques for breast reconstruction and surgical treatment of lymphedema in Spain since 2000. Nowadays, he is the chief of the Plastic Surgery Service of the Hospital de la Santa Creu I Sant Pau and the Hospital del Mar of Barcelona, ​​which simultaneously combines as director of the Advanced Mammary Reconstruction and Microsurgery Unit of Clinica Planas.

Dr. Masia and his team have located the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau and the Hospital del Mar as the Spanish reference center for the treatment of lymphedema and the most advanced breast reconstruction techniques. At the same time, the Breast Reconstruction Unit at Clinica Planas has become one of the most important in the south of Europe.
