Jason W. Allen MD, PhD

Dr. Jason W. Allen is the Director of the Division of Neuroradiology, the Director of the Laboratory for Imaging Neurosciences at Emory (LINE), and an active clinician and researcher. He received his MD and PhD in Neuroscience from Georgetown University and completed Neurology and Diagnostic Radiology residencies as well as a two-year Neuroradiology fellowship at New York University. Dr. Allen is board-certified in each of these areas. His unique training provides a platform for both his clinical Neuroradiology duties and his research interests including the imaging, prognostication, and rehabilitation of neural injury, in particular traumatic brain injury and stroke, and cerebrovascular disorders such as carotid webs. He is the principal investigator on multiple NIH, foundation, and institutional grants as well as a co-investigator and collaborator on multiple additional grant-funded research projects.
