Jason Gleason, MS, FNP-C, USAF Lt Col (RET), is a member of the Fitzgerald faculty. Fitzgerald Health Education Associates is an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education for healthcare providers. He presents the Fitzgerald Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam Review & Advanced Practice Update for family and adult-gerontology primary care.

Mr Gleason is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). He practices at the Montana VA Health Clinic and at the Emergency Department, Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Montana. Jason is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support/Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association (AHA).

He attended the United States Air Force (USAF) Officer School and is a commissioned USAF Officer. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He received his Master's of Science in Nursing at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. He received the Stroke Hero of the Year award in 2017 from the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services and the USAF Meritorious Service Medal in 2005.

Mr Gleason is a guest lecturer at Columbia University in New York City and at Montana State University in Great Falls. He is a stroke consultant and a professional speaker on stroke care and diabetes. Jason is a member of the AHA Stroke Council, the Montana State Stroke Working Group and Montana Stroke Initiative, and is on the Benefits Health Group ER Patient Experience Team and Lead NP-Rapid Medical Evaluation Team. He has presented on stroke in the ER, diabetes complications, improving the patient experience, weight management and obesity, and non-pharmacologic adjunct therapies for pain management at multiple venues around the country.
