Jasmine Kai-tse Zia MD

Dr. Zia is a board certified physician in gastroenterology. She is a specialist in gastrointestinal motility and functional disorders. This includes acid reflux disease, achalasia, esophageal spasms, gastroparesis, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic constipation, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

She earned her medical degree and trained in internal medicine at the University of Washington. She then completed her gastroenterology fellowship at Stanford University. She received additional training in gastrointestinal motility and functional disorders at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Zia performs both upper endoscopies and colonoscopies. She is also trained to perform and interpret the following gastrointestinal motility studies: esophageal and anorectal manometry, esophageal pH/impedance, and carbohydrate breath testing.
