Janis Correia

Janis Correia, Founder and CEO of CBD Worldwide has grown her start-up company into a multi-million-dollar sales and distribution empire. Her experience in sales, drive for success and passion for CBD health and wellness has proven to be the perfect combination to create relationships, brand partners and retail opportunities globally. Jan’s extensive business experience includes working for well-recognized companies such as Rogers Broadcasting, Pattison Outdoor Advertising and Glacier Media as a Sales Manager and Senior Account Executive. Her efforts have been recognized year after year as a recipient of the Roger’s President’s Club Award. In addition, she was nominated and awarded the CWC, Canadian Woman in Communications distinction award from Ryerson University for her contributions to the media in Canada. As a graduate of the Rogers Understudy Management program, Janis went on to recruit, train and manage award-winning sales teams, particularly leading up to and throughout the 2010 Olympic Games.

Jan’s successful media career contributed to the success of co-publishing the first two medical marijuana magazines in Canada. Following the success of the publications, Janis created Canadian Cannabis Media. This company was nominated for “Best New Concept” in 2006 by Small Business BC. Prior to selling this company, Canadian Cannabis Media was invited to host the celebrity gift room at the Emmy’s in Hollywood. This was the first cannabis company ever by invited to attend an Academy Award Event. Janis’s early career started at Vancouver City Hall, working alongside the prior Mayor, Gordon Campbell. She also holds a Deputy Returning Officer position and is involved in municipal, provincial and federal elections.
