Janet Walker MD

Janet Walker, M.D., is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center — Lexington and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. She is a professor of pediatric orthopaedic surgery and pediatrics at the University of Kentucky. She received an undergraduate degree from The University of South Florida and earned a medical degree from University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Walker completed her residency in orthopaedic surgery at University of South Florida College of Medicine and a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at the Hospital for Sick Children. She received additional training in limb lengthening at Gavil IIizarov in Kurgan, Russia. Areas of special interest to Dr. Walker include clubfoot, limb deficiencies, limb malaligment and child with amputations.

Dr. Walker is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, and Association of Children’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinics
