Janet Stoia Davis

Janet Stoia Davis is a Registered Nurse and CWOCN from California USA with a broad nursing background in a variety of settings and roles. Janet currently works in private practice as a consultant for wound, skin, and ostomy care with home health agencies, acute care facilities, outpatient’s clinics, and skilled nursing facilities.

Janet has developed Clinical Skin Care Teams for acute care settings, developed a Wound Care Clinic in a County Medical Center and ostomy clinics in both and HMO and county systems. She has co-authored a home study educational course on wound management, an educational video on perineal skin injury, and articles on quality of life related to living with an ostomy.

Janet lectures nationally and internationally, has co-authored both a CE course, Wound Management & Healing and an educational video, Common Perineal Skin Injuries. She participates in ostomy research and has co-authored articles on research results of ostomates Quality of Life. She received the PCR ET Nurse of the Year Award in 1996, PCR President’s Award in 2000 and PCR Professional Educational Award in 2004.
