Janet Knowles

Dr. Janet works with a wide range of clients but has particular expertise within the life sciences industry and in working with educational institutions and their spin-out companies.
Dr. Janet’s life sciences work covers commercial life sciences transactions including their regulatory and IP implications. Her work ranges from early R&D phases and clinical trials to licensing, clinical and commercial manufacturing and supply and beyond. Her experience includes advising on: clinical trials agreements and related CRO agreements; in-licensing; dossier and associated brand acquisitions; and companion diagnostic transactions.

Chambers UK has independently rated Janet for life sciences nationally as being respected for her ability to 'see solutions quickly and effectively'. She presented at the 2013 EU CRO Federation Conference and the 2012 Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Legal Day and comments on pharmaceutical matters. Janet is Company Secretary of Medilink and a member of a university ethics committee.
