Jane S. Gibson PhD

Dr. Gibson is currently Professor of Pathology and Chair, Department of Clinical Sciences, and Director of Molecular Diagnostics at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG), is a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG), and serves as a member of the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics Board of Directors. Dr. Gibson received her training at the University of Florida College of Medicine, and her practice includes molecular pathology and molecular genetics. She has served as the Director of Molecular Genetics for M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando, and later as the Director of Molecular Genetics and Cytogenetics for AmeriPath, Inc.
