Jane Hellsten NP, B.Pharm

Jane Hellsten has worked in Infection Prevention and Control and Infectious Diseases for many years and currently manages the Infection Prevention Control program at Bendigo Health. Jane’s current role includes managing the Infectious Diseases service and regional consultancy for the Loddon Mallee region. Jane has qualifications in Infectious Diseases, is Infection Control credentialled and holds a Master of Education. She has held positions on state and national Infection Control committees and advisory groups such as Chair of the National Credentialing Board for Infection Control Professionals and has been a past member of the Therapeutic Guidelines Antibiotic Guideline expert group. Jane is passionate about preventing health care acquired infection and antibiotic stewardship.
