Jane F. Knapp MD

Dr. Knapp is Associate Chair for Education for the Department of Pediatrics, Chair of the Department of Graduate Medical Education, and the Designated Institutional Official for Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics (CMH).

She is also the Associate Dean representing CMH and a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She is in charge of the ongoing medical direction and new development of CMH education programs for medical students, residents, fellows, the Health Sciences Library and continuing medical education.

She is the course director for Clinical Advances in Pediatrics, an annual onsite CME meeting targeted to pediatric healthcare providers in office practice; and co-director of Pediatrics for the Practitioner, an annual CMH-sponsored CME meeting on the Big Island of Hawaii. In addition, Dr. Knapp is the Chair of the Academic Pediatric Association (APA) Committee on Health Care Delivery.
