Jana Kelly is a Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Marin Cancer Institute in Radiation Oncology where she has worked since 2008. She also works a nurse, supervisor, and a preceptor for graduate students at UCSF. She originally obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and later decided to pursue a career in nursing after working as a radiology assistant where she was responsible for arranging breast biopsies for women with suspicious findings on mammogram. She became a nurse through the Masters Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) at UC San Francisco. She worked as an inpatient oncology nurse in Stanford's Heme/Onc unit while completing her Masters degree prior to accepting her current position as a CNS.
