Jan Oldenburg

Jan Oldenburg is an expert on personal health engagement, with a focus on transforming health care and the physician-patient relationship through digital tools. She currently serves as vice-chair of the HIMSS Connected Patient Committee and is a former member of the Consumer Empowerment Workgroup of the Health IT Policy Committee. Jan has also held positions at Ernst & Young, Kaiser, Epic, and Aetna. She is the editor of Engage! Transforming Healthcare Through Digital Patient Engagement (published 2013) and Participatory Healthcare: A Person-Centered Approach to Healthcare Transformation (to be published June 2017).
