James Whitfill MD

Dr. Whitfill serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Scottsdale Health Partners and President of Lumetis, LLC. During his 25 years of experience with the union of information technology and healthcare, he has served in leadership roles within a variety of settings including large academic institutions, large private practices, as well as Clinically Integrated Organizations. His focus has been on the use of business intelligence for clinical and operational improvement within healthcare organizations; leadership and team development; workflow-focused information technology; as well as technology and cultural issues within corporate mergers.

Dr.Whitfill is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Bioinformatics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and is a faculty member for the annual meetings of the Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine.
