James Padilla

Dr. Padilla attended San Diego State University and is a graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Dr. Padilla began his private practice in Carmel Mountain Ranch and was one of the first providers in San Diego to become affiliated with the Scripps Health Organization.

He is a qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California and has performed numerous industrial disability evaluations for the state. He was named Chiropractor of the Year in 2001 by the prestigious organization, The Masters Circle. He has traveled extensively on their behalf lecturing on business acumen and patient communication.

Dr. Padilla introduced evidence based integrative therapies into his practice and has been featured and published in various publications on the topic. He has consulted worldwide on the subject and is co-founder of The Institute for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Padilla now sits as Chairman of The American College of Functional and Integrative Medicine whose mission is to teach science-based therapies to all licensed health disciplines, both in the United States and abroad.
